Disrupted Routine.

I am a creature of habit, or perhaps more accurately, habit and routine are important aspects of my recovery. The times in my life when my routine is disrupted, inevitably lead to heightened anxiety. That has not changed through my recovery. What has changed is the way I deal with that anxiety. I now know … Continue reading Disrupted Routine.

Smug

Today marks just over one month of me writing something, more or less, everyday. Even if it is only a brief smattering on this blog. I find the self congratulatory, and just a tiny bit smug approach works best for me, therefore I present to you this months grand total: 7,666

I’m back!

I've had a lovely, if utterly exhausting trip to see my husbands family in Wales. it's the biggest, most anxiety provoking thing I have attempted in over two years. I survived it. I also learned that a lot of family in Wales read my blog. Hi Guys. I will probably natter on about it a bit … Continue reading I’m back!

Nope, No Words

The heady mix of pilates, therapy and steroids yesterday meant I was too exhausted, both physically and emotionally to write, or do much of anything else for that matter. Going to the dentist this morning did not improve matters. In the past I've been prescribed Diazepam for when I'm getting work done at the … Continue reading Nope, No Words

Snuggled under two blankets and listening to a good audio book, Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch.  My Husband has been supplying me with regular cups of tea. It was only a couple of hours ago when I managed … Continue reading The dentist could have gone better

Sleepy

The days have been way too full recently. Story and Rhyme time this morning, afternoon at Crafty Sew & So, then Zumba in the evening. I only managed half of Zumba because my asthma acted up after half an hour. I did a very small amount of revising  a set of instructions at Crafty, but … Continue reading Sleepy

No new words but new glasses!

After an emotionally exhausting morning and a quick lunch, I dashed off into town to get new glasses! Also an eye test and a contact lens check up which was well over due.  I ended up spending a long time in town and came home. I am now both emotional and physically exhausted but with … Continue reading No new words but new glasses!
